When the CEO of Stave Puzzles, Steve Richardson, asked us to help his little Vermont jigsaw puzzle company get some free media attention, we were just out of college and didn't know how to write a press release.
So we wrote this short letter instead.
The amount of press coverage that ensued was nothing short of astounding. As a direct result of our efforts, Stave Puzzles appeared in People Magazine, The New York Times, The New Yorker, Sports Illustrated, The Wall Street Journal, The Boston Globe, The Detroit Free Press, Ultra, US, Executive Review, The Houston Chronicle, The Burlington Free Press, The Rutland Herald, the Disney Channel, the CBS Morning News, and NBC's Evening Magazine (twice).
Needless to say, business picked up after that.
